The mission of the Office for Student Success (OSS) is to amplify student success needs at Texas A&M University by assessing and addressing policies and procedures on student persistence, achievement, and timely graduation. OSS initiatives support undergraduate students as they transition to Texas A&M and connect them with student success resources and community.
The OSS encourages all first-year students to take part in Hullabaloo U – Texas A&M’s first-year experience course designed to help freshmen make a successful transition to Aggieland. First-Generation and transfer students are invited to get involved with the Routh First-Generation Center and the Transfer Student Program for mentorship, community, academic support, and professional development. Students should also download Navigate Student, a free digital platform managed by the OSS to support students, schedule appointments on campus, explore campus resources, and much more. The OSS provides leadership and support for Academic Advisors on campus and are available to students for in-person and virtual appointments.
